What is an IEE?
An Independent Educational Evaluation is a comprehensive assessment conducted by a qualified professional not employed by a school district. Families may request an IEE when they disagree with the results of a school evaluation or when a deeper, more specialized assessment is needed.
IEEs can address:
-
Learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)
-
Attention and executive functioning concerns (ADHD)
-
Autism spectrum profiles
-
Cognitive, memory, and processing challenges
-
Emotional or behavioral factors affecting learning
-
Giftedness and twice-exceptionality (2e)
Our role is to provide a neutral, evidence-based assessment that supports informed decision-making and helps ensure every student receives appropriate services.
