Using gold-standard tool, including the WIAT-4, Test of Dyslexia (TOD), and additional cognitive and academic measures—we gain a detailed understanding of each individual’s learning profile.

The Testing Process

Complete intake paperwork prior to your first appointment.

Participate in a one-hour clinical interview to gather medical, family, academic, and social history.

Participate in a series of two-to-three hour testing sessions in our Commack office. Testing time is variable dependent on the individual being evaluated.

Complete self-report and observer measures from the comfort of your own home.

Attend a virtual feedback session to learn about the results of the report, as well as recommendations provided by the psychologist.

Receive a a detailed report that includes practical, evidence-based recommendations to help foster continued cognitive growth. You may choose to share this report with your or your child’s school or other professionals to guide educational or placement decisions.
